Lynette Kincebach's Amputation Aid

Donation protected
Many of you know our Mom, Lynette. She is the kindest, bravest, most hopeful person in the world. She has been an incredible teacher her entire life, not just to us, but to hundreds of students thoughout the years. She is selfless and a true example of trusting God in all circumstances. She is also the LAST person to ever ask for help. Which is why we are setting this page up on her behalf.

Mom has struggled with Felty's Syndrome ( a rare and very aggressive form of RA) for over a decade now. On top of the debilitating challenges of RA, Felty's also makes your body resistant to healing. As a result of this she has had an extremely large wound on her leg  for many years that would not heal no matter what the treatment was. She has also lived with a HORRIBLE amount of pain for a long time. This has resulted in a myriad of health problems for her, leaving her completely bedridden. Two weeks ago she had to have this leg amputated to stop further infections.

The surgery went well, praise God, but as you can imagine, she has a LONG road of healing ahead of her.  As if this major surgery and getting used to no longer having her leg was not enough, she is also fighting against an already weak body and immune system. Long story short, she needs a LOT of care.

She has been in the hospital for a few weeks and now has been moved to a Rehabilitation Center. However, we were just informed that her insurance days end THIS WEEK meaning that in order for her to stay there
we need to start paying out of pocket for the daily copay.

The good news is that she is thriving in this facilty, getting stronger everyday, eating well (she is very underweight right now), having physical therapy everyday and fighting her hardest for a better quality of life once she eventually goes home and gets a prosthetic.

We thank you all for your prayers. We have seen God's hand move mountains for her already. But we know that there are still many ahead and we want to make sure she can continue to receive the care she needs.

Specifically, we are asking for $1500 in order for her to stay in this facilty through the end of this year. In January, her insurance will give her some more days. Any gift above this amount will go towards her ongoing recovery needs and medical costs.

We realize this is the holiday season and many of you are already very stretched financially. But if you feel led to help us help her to heal, please prayerfully consider donating to this cause, literally every dollar helps!

Honestly, we are not a family that normally reaches out for assistance. But this is different.

Our Mom is a fighter and has already battled many challenges in her life in order to protect us. We now would like to return the favor and do all we can to provide for her.

God is good, His plan is perfect, even though we might not understand it all right now.

Thank you for your prayers and even considering helping beyond that.

You are all a blessing.

With Love and Gratitude,
Danielle, Derek and Dustin
