Forrest Boden, who is very sick with Lyme disease which he has been dealing with August 2007, needs your help right now.

WITH LYME

BEFORE LYME

THE BAD NEWS

He has been with Lyme Disease since August 2007. Forrest has been unable to find affordable and local specialized treatments needed for Lyme so he has been doing this mostly on his own for the last 7 ½ years with help from friends and family when they are able.

During this time he has lost his business, fiancé, savings and most of his ability to be physically active and to even socialize. He has many symptoms of varying degrees of intensity that over the years have left him with significantly debilitated cognitive and physical functions.

He tries to work whenever his energy will allow it (which is not at all these days) but has been in a gradual cycle of diminishing resources and is now unable to fully provide for himself. The provincial disability of $900/month only covers his rent and utilities.

It has been especially bad lately - he says it’s like having the flu, day in and day out, 24/7, including headaches, dizziness, muscle weakness, anxiety, sleeplessness, brain fog, and crushing fatigue, all classic symptoms of Lyme Disease.

THE GOOD NEWS

He has been gifted with his first appointment with a Lyme specialist, Dr Chan in Vancouver, BC by a friend who had good results with him for their Lyme.  He is well respected in the Lyme Community.

Forrest says "Dr. Chan is very aware of the challenges of having, diagnosing and then treating Lyme effectively. He has a great track record and is willing to work outside of the box. So I am beginning to have some hope."

WHAT IS NEEDED

Forrest needs funds for his medicine, food, supplements, and other basic necessities. He also hopes to be able to cover travel and treatment costs related to his work with Dr. Chan.

In Forrest's words:

"It has been a long haul since August 2007 and I am very grateful for the support of friends and family who have carried me this far. Although it has been a grueling, yet amazing journey of growth and humility the challenges have been so profound and draining that I ask you to consider helping me out at this time. Every dollar helps."
