Help Lylah Lee Fight Brain Cancer

Lylah Lee Patton ("Love Bug") turned 2 years old in August of 2012 - On September 9th 2012 she was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer - Choroid Plexus Carcinoma - Since then she has undergone 2 major brain surgeries, several operations and 4 rounds of high dose intravenous chemotherapy. Following her first and second surgeries she lost a tremendous amount of muscle mass which lead to her inability to walk. She has also lost her hearing due to one of the chemotherapy drugs she was taking.
Lylah's cancer is so rare that there really is no treatment protocol that has been effective. We were told in January to stop treatment and "enjoy the time we had left" with her (weeks to months) - Her Oncologist decided to try one more protocol that had never been tried on this cancer but was worth a try since we had no other options really. It is an oral chemo that she now takes each day at home - and it's working!!! Her last scan's showed that her cancer is shrinking and we have both her doctors and more importantly God to thank for this. We're hopeful and prayerful that this might be an answer to this rare form of childhood cancer.
However - since it is a protocol that she takes from home insurance doesnt cover much of it and therfore her bills have skyrocketed over the last few months. We're quickly approaching $1,000 / month between medications, weekly doctor visits, physical theropy visits, feeding (she does not eat solid foods and is fed via a G-tube in her stomach) and soon a surgery to have a hearing implant put in to hopfully give her some hearing back.
If you're able to help our little "warrior bug" continue her fight against this horrible cancer we appreciate it more than you know.
If you have children you know that all we want for our kids is to protect and take care of them - and all we want for Lylah is to be given the chance to live as normal of a life as we can provide her.
