We have lost an innocent, beautiful soul: Lyanna Arislena Barba Quezada. She was our first child, our little princess, and the sunshine in our lives. Her dad and I miss her very much, but we will love her and remember her forever, until the day that God allows us to see her again. Lyanna was surrounded by people that loved and adored her.
The happiest moment in my life was finding out I was pregnant with my little princess, and seeing her beautiful face for the first time. No matter how tired or cranky I was, her smile brightened my days. She was a ray of goodness and warmth in a world that can be so terrible and cold. She was our light. Now, she is in heaven with God.
Although this tragedy has utterly broken us, we are focused on giving her the honor and memorial she deserves. We are planning a funeral that is worthy of this beautiful, gentle soul. But admittedly, we were unprepared for its costs. We're reaching out to all of you in the hopes that you can assist us in putting our baby to rest, so that she can thrive and live in a better, warmer place.
The funds we raise here will cover all the expenses associated with the funeral costs, including a visitation and a burial. We have been blessed to work with a generous funeral home that has donated a casket. Your donations are only for our baby--nothing else.
