No one should face breast cancer alone; Team Lyane

On February 14th, our friend, Lyane was diagnosed with breast cancer. Lyane's tough spirit kicked in and she responded with, "Ok. What's the plan." Her tremendous inner strength, vast knowledge, and a positive mindset are guiding her through this next chapter.

Lyane has been a caregiver for her entire adult life, as a Physical Therapist and as a divorced mother of 3 boys (ages 13, 14 and 17). Her eldest is a senior in high school and heading to "University" this fall.

Lyane's biggest concern is with her boys and the affects that these upcoming challenges will have on them. She hopes that their lives will be minimally disrupted by her diagnoses, surgeries, and treatments.

In the midst of all of this, Lyane has become focused on how she can educate and help other women. She already has a plan in place, allowing her experience to help and guide others.

Lyane is a proud and private person who needs our support, financially and beyond. Let's surrounded her with our love and positive energy.

Lyane resides in Manchester, Vermont with her boys. Her medical appointments, pending surgeries, and treatments will all take place 1 1/2 hours away, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
