Hola, mi nombre es Luz Nereyda García Estrella, vivo en República Dominicana y hace 14 años que padezco lupus.
Con la ayuda de Dios y el apoyo de mi familia he podido superar cada una de mis recaídas de manera victoriosa.
Sin embargo, ahora me encuentro en una condición donde mis vías sanguíneas me exigen el uso de un catéter de alta tecnología para poder continuar el tratamiento de diálisis renal que me realizo tres veces a la semana, pues mis riñones se han visto afectados por mi enfermedad y no califico para transplante renal.
El costo del catéter es demasiado alto, mi familia y yo no podemos cubrir la compra y colocación del mismo.

Hello, my name is Luz Nereyda García Estrella. I have been suffering from lupus for 14 years and renal insufficiency for 3 years.
With the help of God and the support of my family, I have been able to overcome each of my relapses in a victorious way. However, I now find myself in a condition where my blood vessels require the use of a high-tech central catheter so I can complete the renal hemodialysis treatment I receive three times a week.
My kidneys, arteries, and veins have been affected by my illness so I do not qualify for a kidney transplant.
The cost of the catheter is too high. My family and I do not have the funds to cover the cost of it and the medical procedure required.
