Luke's Fight with Cancer
Donation protected
Hi Everyone.
My best friend, Luke, 32 and father of one to Reece, 7, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastro Oesophageal Cancer. This has now spread to his lymph nodes (making it incurable) therefore his life expectancy is extremely short.
Naturally, his world has been turned upside down at the devastating age of 32. Sadly, treatments are limited, and his condition is worsening by the day. With this in mind, I’m asking if you could give what you can to help fund any specialist treatments that are not available on the NHS, which may help prolong Luke’s life. Alongside this, we want to raise a little extra to fund as many memory-making experiences we can for Luke and Reece, with what little time they have left together.
Unfortunately, early gastro oesophageal cancer causes few symptoms. Usually, a diagnosis is made when the cancer is more advanced. Because it can take some time to identify stomach cancer, only about 10% of people are diagnosed while it's still in the early stages.
Any donation would be hugely appreciated, as will your prayers for Luke and his family.
