My name is Misty. I am setting this page up for my dear friends. I want nothing more than Clark and Marcie to become parents. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I always knew I wanted to be a mother, but after many struggles and tears we realized that we could not conceive. After the grace of God, help from my sister, and science, we were able to have two beautiful, healthy, twin boys. I could never imagine my life without my children. Marcie and Clark have tried numerous attempts to conceive without success. They have exhausted all of their financial means, as their insurance does not cover these expenses, and that is why I am asking that we help them in their journey to parenthood. Marcie and Clark are two of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. They love spending time with their nieces and nephews, and have embraced my sons, as well. My two boys lovingly refer to them as "Aunt" and "Uncle." No matter their struggle they have always been very involved and love to spend time with us, as well as their family, although I know when they go home at night they wish for more. Marcie is a preschool teacher and is always there to offer advice and encouragement for me with my children. She spends her days educating and loving children that come and go in her life and I want her to know the fulfillment of having someone to put to bed and rise and shine with in the morning. Clark is a very dedicated husband and hard worker at a steel mill, working long days and putting in countless shifts of overtime. He would give you the shirt off his back. I know that it is hard for them to allow me to do this, but I know the idea of a family outweighs their pride. God has blessed them in their love for each other and there is too much not to share with one perfect little person that is made just for them.
The following is a message from Clark & Marcie explaining their journey.
We feel that we were brought together by fate. We met on a night out with mutual friends, without knowing anything about each other. We fell in love and were engaged 7 months later. We married in July 2011 and immediately started trying to expand our family past our four-legged child!! I, Marcie, have always dreamed of having 4 children and Clark has always wanted children (maybe not 4!! Lol!). I knew in my heart after 6 months of trying that something was wrong. I saw my doctor and a specialist was suggested. We started on our infertility journey in 2012. After many tests and procedures, IVF was suggested for our issues. We jumped into this journey with open hearts and positive thoughts. After many more tests, doctor appointments, and medicine, we went through an IVF procedure in August 2013. We were so hopeful, but the procedure was not successful. I cannot even put into words what the wait was like to find out if we were pregnant. Even after that heartbreak, we decided to go through a frozen transfer in October 2013. Again, the procedure was unsuccessful. After going through all of this, we can say that IVF is the most emotionally, physically, and mentally draining experience that we have both endured. However, we will go through it a hundred times if it means that we will be blessed with our own baby to hold, fall in love with, and raise in our loving home. We have a wonderful support system of close family and friends that have supported us through all of this. It has been a very hard decision to make our private struggle a very public one, but we do not feel that our family will be complete without experiencing the joy of having our own child. We are blessed that our friend Misty is trying to make our dreams a reality. We are praying and believing in a miracle. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ~Clark & Marcie
