Christmas time has always been Mary’s favorite time of year. Many of you have commented on Mary’s post in July when she starts her “Countdown ‘til Christmas”.
However, on Christmas Day 2014 Mary received the devastating news that her breast cancer had spread to not only her liver and spine, but also her brain.
Mary has been blessed with friends and family that have been able to take her out to dinner or invited her to vacation with them at their condo. These have been invaluable in keeping Mary centered and focused on the positive. She is fortunate having retired from Alaska Airlines and is able to fly for a limited fee.
But even with these blessings, the medical bills pile up…leading to worry, stress, and sometimes even hopelessness at a time when she needs to be strong and fight this new round of cancer.
Staying positive and as free from worry as possible is critical to Mary’s fight with this ugly disease. The financial burden of fighting cancer is in the tens of thousands of dollars. You can help tear down this devastating mountain of debt.
