Christmas time has always been Mary’s favorite time of year. Many of you have commented on Mary’s post in July when she starts her “Countdown ‘til Christmas”.
However, on Christmas Day 2014 Mary received the devastating news that her breast cancer had spread to not only her liver and spine, but also her brain.
Mary has been blessed with friends and family that have been able to take her out to dinner or invited her to vacation with them at their condo. These have been invaluable in keeping Mary centered and focused on the positive. She is fortunate having retired from Alaska Airlines and is able to fly for a limited fee.
But even with these blessings, the medical bills pile up…leading to worry, stress, and sometimes even hopelessness at a time when she needs to be strong and fight this new round of cancer.
Staying positive and as free from worry as possible is critical to Mary’s fight with this ugly disease. The financial burden of fighting cancer is in the tens of thousands of dollars. You can help tear down this devastating mountain of debt.
GoFundMe is an excellent way for those of you that would like to help Mary in a very substantial way. Every contribution helps and is appreciated.
Mary fought, and won, her initial cancer. She has endured surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. This is a battle that none of us would want to go through. Mary has no choice.
MARY IS STRONG AND MARY IS A FIGHTER BUT,
MARY NEEDS YOU NOW!
Fighting cancer is costly. Being worried over mounting debt can be devastating. Mary needs all of us now, giving whatever we can. Many people are strapped for cash and are going through financial hardships. Mary has that plus a battle with cancer.
As you know, Mary lost her husband, Ray, to cancer several years ago and is fighting this on her own. As friends and family we can be there for her, alleviating much of her stress, and giving her a fighting chance to win again.
The goal is to raise enough money to cover the medical bills so that Mary can concentrate on fighting – and winning – her battle with cancer. Any amount that you can give will help…any amount will help win this battle with cancer.
Please donate today and again later if you are able. We’re not asking for you to donate until it hurts, but rather, donate until it feels good.
