Dr. Sean Early needs your help!
His stage 4 brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme) is winning the battle that Sean has valiently fought for 18months.  Scott and Sean's family are asking for your help to offset the medical and care expenses that aren't covered by insurance.
Sean has been moved to his sister's home in Huntington Beach and feels safe and comfortable.  Hospice has been activated to ensure that he gets the best care possible.  If the clinical trial does work and he rebounds, then all the better. In either case, he need your support now.

The Story...
On July 16, 2016 Sean had a seizure after his 10mile run in Griffith Park. The seizure was caused by a stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumor on the left front quadrant of his brain. Sean fought through the extremely challenging brain surgery, 45 days of brain radiation, and a year of daily chemo therapy. During that time, he lost his job and required multiple hospitalizations. Yes, that is expensive stuff.

In September 2017, Sean interviewed and was hired on the same day by LA Unified School District. He was thrilled to have regained his status as an educator, speech therapist, and inspiration to us all. He also attempted to return to his beloved physical training Tribe - November Project.

After some symptoms started cropping up in early December, Sean got an MRI on December 16th.  On December 18th, he recieved the news that a new lesion on the opposite side of his brain had grown. This new lesion is bigger and more aggressive than the first. He lost his speech, and swallow reflect, as well as some cognitive abilities.

Ever the fighter, Sean and Scott decided to enroll in a clinical trial with the John Wayne Cancer Institute. On December 26 (Boxing Day) he underwent his 2nd brain surgery. Although we aren't certain if the trial is working or not, Sean's body is failing. He requires 24/7 care that is not covered by any insurance. Scott, and Sean's family are doing as much of the care as possible, but they require assistance from paid professionals.

All your messages left here and sent to [email redacted] will be shared with Sean.

Although your donation is NOT tax deductible, Sean and Scott greatly appreciate your support.
