Loving support for Mona DelaCruz

My mom, Mona DelaCruz, is the most generous, hardworking, selfless person I know. She's always there for her friends and family, putting them before herself. Helping others is just second nature to her. On March 5th, our world was flipped upside down. Mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. On top of that, we found the multiple tumors had spread to the lining in her abdomen wall. The diagnosis was scary, but Mom being the strong and determined woman that she is persisted with chemotherapy.
Recent complications from her cancer arose and it has resulted in multiple hospital stays within the last couple weeks. It has weakened Mom physically and has made daily tasks almost impossible without the assistance of others, but like the fighter she is, she pushes through. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, it has made it extremely challenging for our extended family to readily assist as Mom is immunocompromised. My Dad has been by her side through it all, but has had to stop working so he can be her primary caretaker. At this point, he has exhausted the allotted paid family leave the state offers and will continue to go on leave, however, it will be unpaid.
We want to help ease the financial stress his unpaid leave will inevitably cause, so we are asking for your help. If you are able to assist in any way, we graciously appreciate it -- 100% of all funds raised will go directly towards my Mom and Dad to ensure he can continue to be there to support her through her greatest battle.
My Mom is the light of our lives. She has always put her family first and is always so thoughtful and generous to others. My Dad (Vince), myself and siblings (Christian and Vanessa), along with her four grandchildren (Mayah, Charlotte, Jaeden and Maliyah) love and adore her. She has helped so many, and now she needs help.
We are grateful for your love and support!
