Love 4 Lora

My sister, Lora, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer (Triple Negative, Stage III) on December 14, 2017 at the age of 30.  

Lora started chemotherapy in January and is approaching her “half-way" mark (last treatment is scheduled for June 12, 2018).  However, her battle will not end there.  She will have to have a bilateral total mastectomy with breast reconstruction followed by radiation therapy. Lora is handling this devastating news with such grace and dignity. She refuses to let this diagnosis define her, and is ready for the fight of her life.

Lora has dedicated her life to helping others by working as a registered nurse for the past eight years.  She in unable to work right now due to her rigorous weekly chemotherapy treatments, supressed immune system, and the extensive recovery from her upcoming surgery.  Her medical bills are piling up (currently over $9,000) as well as her daily living expenses.  

Lora has always been a free-spirit who sees the good in everyone. She is loving and compassionate, incredibly fierce and strong, humble and forgiving.  Lora is the boldest and bravest person I know. She can put a smile on anyones face.  She is a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, coworker, and travel buddy.
