Love & Kindness Tour 2018
In February I will be travelling to Nicaragua, one of the poorest countries in Central America with some local, like-minded individuals to help build community in the village of Jiquilillo, a remote fishing village.
Almost 80% of Nicaraguans have inadequate housing or are considered homeless, and live on less than $2 per day.
I am paying my own way to Nicaragua and all expenses associated with staying there; however I am looking for monetary donations to help out with community development projects while there.
Some of the projects I will be helping out and am looking for funding for are:
- Working with the El Limonal community, where women and children make a living scavenging in the Chinandega garbage dump – we will be providing hot lunches to them.
- To purchase basic necessities, such as rice, as well as providing school supplies and sports equipment for villagers.
- Supporting local feeding programs and environmental/conservation projects.
I am grateful for any size donation and can personally assure you it will be maximized and put the best possible use in the villages of Nicaragua, for the people who need it the most.
