Louise Lynch is a native of Radrinagh, Spa, Killarney, Co. Kerry, Louise age 22, was a passenger returning from a day trip when seriously injured in a horrific car accident, on 24th Feb 2018 in Badajoz, South West, Spain. Louise has been living in Badajoz since August 2017, teaching English to primary school children, she graduated from University College, Cork with a degree in Commerce and Spanish.
Louise was in a coma for six weeks in ICU, however she remains in the Infanta Christina, Hospital, in Badajoz, Spain after suffering serious internal injuries, cranial, abdominal and thoracic injuries and many fractured bones, she has undergone several operations for her injuries and just this week under went a brain operation to drain fluid from her brain.
Louise’s family and friends have set up this funding account to help with repatriation and rehabilitation costs. Louise needs to be brought home to Ireland for 6 to 10 months rehabilitation therapy, her family are looking into the cost of getting Louise home either by medical plane or via road by ambulance with a specialist medical team.
