Memorial Fund for Lorraine Guest

Dear Family and Friends,

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the passing of our grandmother, Mrs. Lorraine J. Guest. Our grandma passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee, OK.

Just a month shy of her 84th birthday, Granny was the matriarch of our family, an amazing woman and a hero to us. No words can describe just how much we loved her.

Unfortunately, someone cashed in on Granny's life insurance policy and the money she paid every month for years to Ragsdale Funeral Home. Granny was a very honest, hard-working woman, and those of us who were fortunate to be a part of her life know that she was a proud woman who didn't want her family, kids, grandkids, to worry or stress about funeral expenses.

We are asking family and close friends to support our fundraising effort to offer our grandmother a proper memorial. Any amount is greatly appreciated. All funds will go toward the cost of her cremation and burial plot. Any remaining funds will be put toward a headstone (cost breakdown below).

We will keep you all updated on what's going on throughout this process.

$200 for plot at Paradise Cemetery in Checotah, OK
 [Plot fee was waived]

Note: Please keep in mind that after Sunday, December 10, 2017, the Winn Funeral Home will begin charging $50 per day to keep her there uncremated.
