Loriann McCarthy's Life

Loriann is a member of the Columbus Irish Community, as am I, and she needs our help trying to live.  It is a shame that so much money goes to saving people who don't want to be saved but little money is available to help someone who wants to live and is sick through no fault of her own.  Loriann was terminated from her position after her extended leave time ran out.  Here is her story:

Diagnosed 2016 with Stage 3 breast cancer 
Started chemo and was considered chemo resistant
February 2017 surgery left mastectomy,  still some cancer cells in chest
Radiation to chest, it worked

Next scans showed cancer in left hip bone
Did cyberknife, it worked

Started immunotherapy, it did not work. Cancer spread to liver, lungs, bone, and bone marrow 

Started clinical trial, it's working. Gone in lungs, decreasing in liver, and bone marrow is working again.

Terminated by employee due to extended leave running out 

Make too much on disability to qualify for any type of Medicaid or Mt. Carmel' s plan.

The trial that is saving her life is only being performed by  Zangmeister Center and they don't accept any of the exchange programs.

Only choice is COBRA plus I have already paid a significant amount to my deductible.

I don't know how but she has kept a good spirit through all of this.  Loriann's first Cobra payment of $850 has to be received by May 1, 2018.

Please help keep Loriann in our lives.  Any amount is not too little and is greatly appreciated.
