Lorenzo is a homebound, machine dependent 8 year old boy with severe, complex medical and special needs. His health issues have required hospitalization over 10 of the last 12 months, culminating in a tracheostomy in November. After recuperation, Lorenzo will be transferred to a long term special care facility, at Bethany Childrens Center. 

This medical journey, and its unknown progression, has had a significant financial impact on the family in both their ability to care for Lorenzo, and meet the household needs of his 4 siblings at home.

Over the past year’s medical crisis one parent had to terminate employment to be dedicated to Lorenzo’s care. Likewise during Lorenzo’s special facility residence I need to invest significant time to be trained in his new medical regimen.
The family asks for charitable donations to help bridge the financial gap incurred over this difficult ongoing period.

Lorenzo is a true gift. He faces everything with patience, acceptance, and joy. We love having him in our lives, and want to do our best to provide for him, and his siblings. We are very grateful for your generous support.
