Logan's Road to Recovery

My friends I want to show my support for Debbie and her beautiful Logan and Cooper by setting up this GoFundMe Campaign during Logan's road to recovery.

I am sure you all have heard that Logan has just had some very serious open heart surgery for a very rare heart condition in Westmead Children's hospital. The operation took over 8 gruelling hours and during that time they stopped Logan's heart and placed him on bypass while they reconstructed part of his heart. The wait was horrific. Logan is now going to endure some tough healing and will be off school without his friends for at least 6 weeks, if all goes to plan. He is by no means out of the woods as it is very early days. We are all hoping this is the last surgery he will need to have for some time. Logan is a little trooper and a gorgeous soul and his strength over the last few days combined with Deb's amazing strength and love as a mother, has inspired me to set up this GoFundMe Campaign (Deb please don't be mad at me). Deb is the most genuine, caring, humble mother I know and she deserves the very best in this world. All Logan wants to do is make his school camp in 3 weeks. 

I want to help my beautiful friends in some way, can you help me to do this?  What you may not know is that Deb has had to take 40 days off work to drive Logan to Sydney for the surgery, stay at Westmead while leaving Cooper with her family and then drive back again in the coming weeks for follow up appointments, while trying to juggle her regular family commitments.  Deb is an amazing mum, who sacrifices so much to give her boys the best life she can. I thought about a food drive and all the rest, but in the end I decided this would be the best gift, so she could continue to buy things for her family without worrying about taking time off work. 

I have worked out that just an extra $500 a week would help Deb with food costs, clothes, school, travel, medical costs  and other bits and pieces they will need.  Not to mention that Logan's 11th birthday is coming up near the end of the month and she will have the added pressure of organising a birthday gift at that time while she is not working. 

Please join me if you can by contributing a donation towards Logan's recovery. Let's make it a little easier on Deb and the boys during this healing time and maybe there will be a little bit left to spoil the boys with at the end.  I know Logan loves PS4!!!
