My ten year old son Logan has Type 1 Diabetes. Logan has Hypoglycemia Unawareness and at night is so scary! This is very frightening for our whole family, especially Logan. We want to help him to not only make it through the night, but to feel secure. He needs a diabetic alert dog (D.A.D.)
Diabetic alert dogs are specially trained to alert people like Logan when their blood sugar begins to rise or drop - day or night. The dog stays by his side 24 hours a day and will tell Logan when he needs to bring up or correct his blood sugar. Even when he is sleeping.
We are very lucky to have found a Diabetes Alert Dog for Logan named Alexis. The total cost for her is just under $7,000. We need your help raising the last $2,500. Please help Logan by contributing a few dollars to finish out this fundraising journey to bringing Alexis home. Alexis will truly be Logan's Lifesaver.
