Local Food for Locals in Need

440 Main Restaurant and White Squirrel Brewery are teaming together to help feed families in the Bowling Green and Warren County School Districts. What began as a random act kindness on Facebook, quickly evolved into more than $1500 in donations for local families in need.
It is estimated that nearly 5,000 children in Warren County (17.3%) have limited access to enough food for an active, healthy life for all members of their household.[1] Programs like SNAP benefit families that fall below a designated yearly income, however, many Warren county families fall just above this line. This means that a large number of families are left without food security.
To continue feeding it forward to our community, we have set up a fast and easy way to make your contributions on Go Fund Me. All donated meals are coordinated and delivered by designated Family Resource Coordinators from each school district.
Currently we have been able to provide meals for families in the following districts: Dishman McGinnis, TC Cherry, Parker-Bennet-Curry, Bowling Green Junior High and Bowling Green High School
Our goal is to provide as many meals to as many schools as possible within our community. 100% of your donation will be used towards the preparation of these meals. Every donation provides a family of four with a delicious and nutritious meal and allows us to help some of our currently unemployed staff.
Price Breakdown per meal
$30 covers food cost and the wage for 2 currently unemployed kitchen workers
$6.20 goes to 2 currently unemployed servers who build the meals and deliver them curbside
$1.80 covers 6% tax

$38 feeds a family of 4 and aids 4 currently unemployed kitchen and waitstaff.
100% of the donation goes to the preparation of these meals.
