Little Legs Django's surgery fund

Donation protected
Django is an Australian silky terrier cross. He is around 19mths old, but in his short life has already experienced significant neglect and suffered anxiety when we met him.

He has a portosystemic shunt - essentially his blood vessels around his liver are wired wrong, so his blood does not get filtered by his liver as it should. When he eats, any toxins go straight to his brain, causing  seizures. These are currently being managed with medications and a special diet, however even with these, his expected lifespan is a further 2 years.

The required surgery will be performed by a specialist and has been estimated as costing somewhere around $6000. This is hoped to cover his anaesthetic, oxygen and surgery itself, recovery time whilst kept with the specialist and follow up appointments. Being only a small organisation, this is currently far out of Little Legs Dog Rescue's reach, especially as we have had a high number of emergency cases within the last few weeks.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated - if each follower and supporter of Little Legs gave only $1, we would have enough to save this Beautiful boy's life.
