A daughter. A sister. A wife. A mother. Wants to be a Lung Cancer Survivor.
Lisa's a tough lady, but just a few weeks before Thanksgiving, she went to the doctor about some left shoulder pain. The X-Ray on her shoulder also revealed some nodules on her left lung. So, the good news is that the pulmonarynodules were caught, but the bad news is Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Adenocarcinoma. Happy Holidays!
Already Lisa and her family have received and appreciate lots of kind words and prayers. They hope that you'll keep the positive thoughts flowing.
Some of the treatment will be covered by insurance, but they will face a number of expenses over the next year or two that won't be covered. From things insurance won't cover to missed work without pay to trips to Johns Hopkins and childcare costs for their three boys.
Lisa's treatment began on New Year's Eve. So far so good. We will keep this page updated as time goes on.
