Help Lindsey Get Back on Her Feet

Our daughter Lindsey is in crisis. In September, Lindsey was forced to leave her home with her 5 year old daughter and 11 month old son. She was left with few of their belongings and no money. With the help of family, she has been coping for the last couple of months until just last week when tragedy struck.
Our Son-in-Law Steven, was hospitalized last Friday morning with a cardiac anomaly causing erratic heart activity (Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome). Doctors decided it best to transport him to the cardiac unit at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa on Sunday morning for more specialized care. During transport he went into cardiac arrest and was "down" for approximately 10 minutes. He was on life support and in an induced coma for approximately 72 hours, lowering his body temp to get systems regulated and stop continued seizures. Once doctors began raising his body temperature and monitoring brain activity and kidney function, they detected little to no brain activity, limited kidney function and a severely damaged heart. Steven was removed from life support on the afternoon of January 17th and passed just a short while later. We are simply devestated.
Since Steven's passing, Lindsey has discovered that Steven didn't have any life insurance, retirement or savings plan and stopped paying all of their household bills, including mortgage, car payment, cell phone plan, in early September. Lindsey is now left with nothing (until Social Security Benefits kick in.)
In addition to her two young children, Lindsey will deliver a new baby in early March. She desperately needs help to cover the medical expenses associated with the new baby and help to get back up on her feet with her three small children until she is able to find work to support her young family. There are also several baby items that will need to be purchased.
The money we are asking for will help secure the home for the family, cover medical expenses associated with the birth of her baby, needed baby items, moving costs and airfare for Bill to fly to Oklahoma to help Lindsey during some of these transitions.
We appreciate any donation you may be able to give and assure you that the funds will be used to directly benefit Lindsey, Rilee, Theo and Baby Drianna.
In addition, we covet your continued prayers for Lindsey, Steven's children, his parents and extended family and loved ones as they mourn the loss of this young man who was taken way too soon. Pray that Lindsey will have the strength to make the decisions she faces and that she can remain healthy for the duration of her pregnancy.
