We met Belkiss and Delvin in Santa Teresa. They are Nicaraguans but currently live in Costa Rica. They work very hard and recently gave birth to their first child, a baby girl.
Belkiss has a sister in Nicaragua that has a knee problem (Valgus Knee) that prevents her from walking for more than 500 meters and she cannot lift anything that is over 30 pounds, including her child. The Nicaraguan government can easily do the opereration for her at no charge, but the medical piece she needs is not available in Nicaragua. The part costs roughly1500$ US. She makes about 120$ a month and that covers her basic necessities, and does not allow her any luxuries.

Jon is going to Costa Rica in January 2018 and we would like to contribute for the piece. Any contribution on your part would be greatly appreciated. If we can round up enough money, this could transform her life, as well as her children's and family's lives.
