On January 1, 2017, I first supported RefuseFascism.org by holding a fund raiser with my band at Uncommonground on Devon in Chicago, IL. We said NO! We refuse to accept a Fascist America. Since then I have continued to work with the organization to drive out the Trump/Pence Regime.
Fascism has direction and momentum. Dissent is criminalized piece by piece. The truth is bludgeoned. Group after group is demonized and targeted along a trajectory that leads to real horrors. All of this has already begun under the Trump/Pence Regime. History has shown that fascism must be stopped before it becomes too late. THIS is why I am now headed for NYC to work at the national level and I need your help to make that happen.
RefuseFascism.org is not funded by multi-millionaires. We all work on behalf of humanity's common interests as volunteers. Unfortunately, the bill collectors don't recognize these efforts as particularly benefiting them, so we have to keep paying for things like phones, food, transportation, insurance, medicine, etc.
I realize that not everyone can do what I am doing, leaving my city to devote a few months to making sure fascism isn't consolidated - but everyone can contribute something to making the vision for November 4th a reality by donating to support full-time organizers.
