Linda Reiner Memorial

Linda is the beloved wife of William J. Reiner and mother to William R. Reiner, Nicholas J. Reiner and Jennifer R. Reiner.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy!  They are Will, Alicia, Brianna, Brooke, Rebecca, Marissa, Antonio, Jacob and Isabella.  Her dear sister, Jeannie Renda, Jeannies Husband Gene and their children meant so much to her even from afar.  Her Brother Nick always put a smile on her face. She always believed that family is very special, we are to keep them close and never forget that "blood is thicker than water."

Linda was an amazing woman who was kind and generous.  She shared all that she had with everyone she knew. She took great pleasure in making things for people just to put a smile on their face. She loved to bake, cook, sew and do crafts.  She spent most of her life working 2 full time jobs, one as a mother and the other in administrative work for the NYPD.  She retired to N.C. but never lost her love for N.Y.   

Her last days were difficult.  She went to Hospice for comfort.  They provided a loving and supportive environment for her and the family as they shared their last days together.  Hospice was a blessing and so it was agreed that she would rather give of herself in her death as she did in her life.  Rather than sending the traditional flowers for her we ask that people make a contribution to this fund.  It has been created to give a donation to Hospice in her name, in the memory of Linda Rose Reiner. The donation will be something lasting and comforting to others, but will always hold a memorial to her. She will live on in our hearts forever!
