Lincoln's Angels

Donation protected
To all those who have not yet heard the news, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that baby Lincoln Matthew, son of Dr. David and Lauren Herman, has found his way to heaven to be with Jesus. While the expectant parents wished for a precious child, they gained an angel instead. David and Lauren are believers. Their faith is unshaken, but they are in mourning. They know that their son is in heaven, and they long for the day that they will be with him.

As many know, Dr. Herman and Lauren are new to this area, with Dr. Herman having just started a chiropractic office a year ago and Lauren serving as a school teacher in a local district. Their lives have been traumatically altered as they now face the unimaginable pain of laying their beloved baby to rest.

With their kindness, sincerity and optimism, David and Lauren are always the first ones to offer a helping hand, lend support to their community and go above and beyond for others. Their compassion and consideration is unmatched and we have no doubt that little Lincoln would have grown to show the same warmth and love to those around him. Nine days before his due date, after 12 hours of labor, Lauren gave birth to beautiful Lincoln on April 13th at 8:09 am. He was 9 pounds and 22 inches long.

While we cannot diminish the pain that the Herman family is suffering from, we can help to alleviate the unexpected financial burden that they are now facing. We are humbly seeking donations in order to provide baby Lincoln with a service that he deserves. Also, we would like to cover the cost of time off work for Dr. Herman (more days than expected) and meals.  It is also important to the family to be able to donate a Caring Cradle to the hospital. This device allowed David and Lauren to have baby Lincoln in the room with them. Without it, mom and dad wouldn't have had as much time with Lincoln as they did. They would love to be able to provide another machine for any future families that might have to endure the same experience. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and makes a tremendous difference.

Even if you are not in the position to donate monetarily, the family would love to hear any well wishes, words of encouragement or comments and prayers that you would like to share.

We bless sweet Lincoln Matthew, for there is no footprint so small that it does not leave an imprint on this world.

A story too beautiful for earth, Lincoln Matthew Herman.
