Lina's Fight Against Cancer

Please help us support our Auntie Lina (Violy) in her fight against cancer.
Our aunt has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and is going through aggressive radiation and chemotherapy infusion treatments. This has taken a toll on her body and mind but it won't take her spirit. Her son, Sean, along with the rest of our family have been doing everything we can but they still need some help.

In January, my mom had been feeling back pain and had been going back and forth to appointments trying to figure out the cause. Her doctor suspected cancer but couldn’t give a definitive diagnosis until further tests were done. On April 11, 2017, my mom got the call that would change our lives.
She called me and started crying to the point where I couldn’t understand her. When she finally caught her breath, she told me. Stage 4 breast cancer that spread to her bones (metastatic breast cancer). I was devastated. It took me a while to process, and I finally asked her, “What does that mean?” She replied with, “It means that I’m going to die.”
Hearing those words come out, I felt like the world had just crumbled around me. The strongest woman I know was going through something that we wouldn’t have imagined. Driving home, I cried and yelled to myself asking God “WHY?” Walking into the house, I seen my mom laying on the couch, and I sat in front of her crying, and feeling helpless. She said “What can I do? I have to accept it, and be strong.”
The following hospital visits consisted of information regarding her radiation and chemotherapy treatments. After her first chemo treatment, she was weak, the medication had drained all her energy. A week later she was complaining of severe abdominal pain so I rushed her to the Emergency Department. They ran a CT scan, and found she had a gallstone that needed emergency surgery for gall bladder removal.
My mom has been through a lot these past few months, and although we have help from our family, it just isn’t enough. We’re reaching out for help to pay for medical expenses, and medical care to fight.
