Hello everyone Thankyou for looking at our page.
I am hoping to raise funds to buy an eyegaze communication device for my 9 year old daughter Lily. At 18months Lily was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a condition which causes physical and mental disabilities, the biggest and most frustrating for Lily is not being able to communicate, verbally or physically. 6months ago Lily started to use eyegaze at school with fantastic results, Lily was finally able to express her thoughts and make choices of her own. To have her own eyegaze would allow Lily to engage at home with friends and family which would be amazing, this would eliminate most of her frustration and we would be able to engage in mother daughter conversations. Unfortunately these devices are expensive and not always available on the NHS, we are looking into other fundraising but if you can help in anyway please know Lily and I will be forever grateful.
