Librarian Needs a Transmission

In her job as a rural library specialist with the Maine State Library, my wife Lisa Neal Shaw's reliable Lucerne has taken her all over the state of Maine. 

But now the transmission has given out. Repairs in total will come to between $3000 and $3500. 

Those of you who have known Lisa are well acquainted with her passion, empathy and dedication to public service, from her days at the Presque Isle and Caribou Libraries, to her current Maine State Library position.   

Any amount friends can pitch in will help. If you need re-payment, we'll arrange that.  

A loaner vehicle may also help so that Lisa can resume visitations to the libraries in her consultant region.
