Our Argyle community members and one of our very own, Hilltop Teacher, Kristen and her husband Wesley Haynes' youngest son Leyton, was involved in a horrific accident. While he was riding his bike outside their home little Leyton was struck by a car.
An angel was by his side that day as his little body flew through the air on to the road. We are so blessed he was wearing his helmet. The impact broke his femur and a God send fire and resuce person was on the scene within minutes hopping a fence and running to his aid. We thank you for what you did that day.
The minutes and hours following the accident were heart wrenching as little Leyton was flown away in a care flight to Cooks in Ft Worth were they could get to work on finding out how else he was affected by the car hitting him.
As they poked and scanned Leyton screamed and as you could image the trama of feeling helpless when your baby is screaming and you cant take his pain away is imense. 4 days in the hospital, surgeries now and in the future, care flight expenses, endless appointments and time out of work is costly as we all know.
A meal train has been set up by Chelsey Tillmon and many of you have signed up. Thank you so much. I have set up this fundraiser to help aid them in the piling medical expenses that they have incurred and will continue to incure well into the next 2 years for surgeries, appointents, missd work, and physical therepies.
Any amount of help is greatly appreciated. Kristen has given years of service to our children loving on them everyday in our schools. Wesley also a teacher and coach has done the same. They have devoted years to guiding and teaching our children. I am asking for everyone's prayers and support in any way you can by donating and sharing this fundraiser to ease their financial stresses so they can focus solely on Leyton and his brother Weston who was also witness to the accident. Thank you all tremendously.
