<div>O ano de 2026 começou da pior forma, um <strong>incêndio destruiu a fábrica da Ferox</strong> Surfboards, em São Brás de Alportel — um projeto que não é apenas uma marca de pranchas, mas uma <strong>parte viva da comunidade nacional de surf.</strong>

<div>A Ferox foi criada há mais de 20 anos por Octávio Lourenço, um shaper, artista e amigo de todos que sempre colocou a criatividade, a comunidade e o surf no centro de tudo. Com o incêndio, essa história construída ao longo de décadas foi brutalmente interrompida: <strong>perderam-se todas as pranchas prontas, em produção e em reparação</strong>, assim como todo o stock de materiais, ferramentas, maquinaria especializada e acessórios essenciais ao fabrico artesanal das pranchas. <strong>A destruição foi absoluta</strong> — o <strong>edifício da fábrica ficou inutilizado e terá de ser totalmente reconstruído</strong> para que o projeto possa voltar a existir.

<div><strong>As pranchas Ferox</strong> <strong>não são feitas em série</strong> — são fruto de arte, técnica, paixão e ligação ao mar e às pessoas. Octávio não só criou equipamentos personalizados de alta qualidade com materiais inovadores (como núcleos ecológicos e designs especiais), como também <strong>apoiou surfistas locais e jovens talentos</strong>, muitos dos quais agora competem com orgulho nas pranchas Ferox.

<div>Para além do surf regular, <strong>a Ferox também se envolveu em projetos especiais</strong>, <strong>como a criação de pranchas adaptadas</strong> para surf inclusivo, pensadas para pessoas com diferentes capacidades físicas, em parceria com iniciativas sociais e eventos que promoveram o surf para todos.

<div>Agora, com a fábrica reduzida a cinzas, o Octávio precisa da nossa ajuda para recomeçar, com coragem, energia e a certeza de que o surf e a criatividade continuam a ser motores de transformação social e pessoal.

Quem o conhece sabe que <strong>é alguém que sempre deu tudo aos outros</strong> — tempo, conhecimento, apoio, oportunidades — sem nunca esperar nada em troca. <strong>Pedir ajuda nunca foi a sua praia</strong>. Por isso, somos nós, amigos, que o fazemos agora, com total transparência: <strong>todos os donativos angariados destinam-se integralmente à reconstrução da fábrica Ferox</strong>, e assim, será possível reerguer aquilo que o fogo lhe roubou e voltar a fazer o que sempre fez — <strong>criar, apoiar e devolver á comunidade muito mais do que alguma vez recebeu.</strong>
