Letter from Italy, 1944

Donation protected
22 Veterans with PTSD commit suicide each day in the US.  Hundreds of thousands more are struggling with this terrible aftermath of war.  PTSD grievously affects too many of our nation’s heroic veterans, their families and ultimately all of us.

Is there anything we can do?   One effective answer is Letter from Italy, 1944, an amazing, healing musical drama about such a veteran – a World War II doctor who served with the medics of the fabled 10th Mountain Division.

This new American music is now helping those suffering from PTSD and deserves to be heard by people everywhere.    Through the magic of music, drama and historic projections, it opens the conversation about PTSD and healing begins.

You can help bring Letter from Italy, 1944 to the stage for its second performance this May with your tax-deductible donation.  Join the 200 choral voices of the GMChorale and Hartford Chorale, professional soloists, and the Hartford Symphony with your support of this brilliant response to the national crisis of PTSD.

The collaborating 501(c)(3) non-profit producers, GMChorale and Hartford Chorale, need to raise $50,000 to support the $150,000 production costs associated with this performance.  Your donation will partially support free tickets for veterans and their families, a Military Service Honor Roll Book for each attendee, and a series of Community Conversations centering on PTSD in addition to the profoundly poignant two-hour musical.

Even a $5 donation greatly helps fund this project. The synergy of generosity combines your gift with other contributions, allowing us to offer even more complimentary tickets to worthy veterans!

Honor those who have given so much of themselves to protect our freedoms – please support Letter from Italy, 1944 so that it may also come to your hometown.
