James Austin passed away suddenly on November 14th 2017 leaving his daughter Skylar Austin alone and in a tough spot. Skylar is a Junior in high School, and she and her dad lived together alone. Jim and Skylar were 2 of a kind; super close, and relied on each other significantly as they navigated some topsy-turvy times in life. They had a special bond, and Jim will be sorely missed.
Skylars circumstances are a big blow to her. This GoFund Me page has been set up by her extended family to help support her in both short term and long term.
Jim worked two jobs for many years to make it all work; he was the sole providor. He simply busted his butt to provide for the two of them, and all that while, he always made it a priority to support Skylar's many activities. Unfortunately, he was not able to leave her with a secure financial future.
Any support will go toward Skylars future needs, be it financial and/or educational, or otherwise.
