Hello My Name is Aidan Rogers…. I am 13 years old and currently in 7th Grade. For as long as I can remember I’ve always been very, very shy. So shy in fact that I’ve missed out on a lot of things that my friends got to experience. My Shyness has limited me in so many ways and I always thought I’d be this way.
I’ve always had a secret dream of acting… I thought it could be a way of me being someone that I couldn't be in real life. I thought I could do something like that. But I then always doubted myself and thought no Way that you can do that Aidan.
Well two months ago I came across an ad for an audition for Acting/ Modeling/ Singing… I thought “ This is my opportunity” So I got up my courage AND I SIGNED UP and then I ask my mom if she would take me to Columbus. I think She was completely shocked and surprised that I had signed up for something like this, but I told her it was something I really wanted to try.
Well we went and I auditioned and was chosen to take part in an acting/ modeling training program over 2 separate weekends again in Columbus.
It was one of the happiest days of my life, I was so excited that I was selected to do something like this. There was over 300 kids there and they only called back about 25…. How awesome !!!!
I then attended training with Robert Vito from Spy Kids, Dave Flowers and Famous Director/ Acting coach/former manager Julian Georgeo. I received training in auditioning techniques, monologues, improv commercials, basic acting principles, poise, posture, and posing. It was an incredible time.
After the workshops there were only 8 of us that were called back and I got the opportunity to Audition for IPOP. IPOP is ‘International Presentation of Performers” its the largest single event where hundreds and hundreds of Scouts, Agents, Coaches, and Managers are all looking for talent for Acting, Commercials, Print Ads, Singing, or Modeling. This is held 2 times a year in Las Vegas, In January and in July.
Well guess what ??? I Was personally selected by IPOP Director, Julian Georgio to attend IPOP January 2018 in Las Vegas!!!! I Was Soooooo Excited. Julian Georgeo has a 100% call back rate and an 85% signing rate for the kids that he choses to attend and perform at IPOP.
I can’t begin to tell anyone how excited I am for this opportunity. I am hoping to be selected by an agent for a commercial, a magazine, or maybe even a TV show. This experience is going to change my life in so many ways but I need Help.
I need to raise $5,000 by December in order to cover the cost of attending this event. I am asking if you would help me follow my dreams and where I feel I’m being led and ask you to support me in this amazing opportunity!!!! I’m asking for anything you can do to help me… $25.00 or $50.00 or Maybe $100.00 ??
I will always continue to meet my goals and maintain the honor roll at school and I’ll Always encourage others to reach for their dreams!!!!!!!
