<div>With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we share that my father, Sergio Amavizca, passed away on May 14 after a tragic work accident in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked installing industrial windows, and during one shift, 12 windows fell on him, causing multiple bone fractures, severe injuries to his spine, neck, and brain. After fighting for his life for a week in the hospital, he sadly left us.

<div>Sergio was a kind, hardworking man who loved horses and the ranch life. His greatest wish was that when his time came, he would be laid to rest in his beloved hometown of Aribabi, Sonora, Mexico, where he was born, raised, and found true happiness.

<div>Now, our family wants to honor that wish and take him home, but the medical, funeral, and international transportation costs have overwhelmed us.
</div>

<div>Con el corazón roto y un profundo dolor, les compartimos que mi papá Sergio Amavizca falleció tras un trágico accidente laboral en Phoenix, Arizona. Él se dedicaba a la instalación de ventanas industriales, un trabajo pesado y peligroso que hacía con dedicación para salir adelante . Desgraciadamente, durante una jornada, le cayeron encima 12 ventanas industriales, provocándole múltiples fracturas en su cuerpo, daños severos en la columna, la nuca y el cerebro. Estuvo luchando por su vida durante una semana en el hospital, pero hoy nos dejó.

<div>Mi papá siempre tuvo un sueño muy claro: que el día que partiera de este mundo, su cuerpo descansara en su querido rancho en Aribabi, Sonora, México. Era su lugar, su tierra, donde están sus raíces y sus recuerdos más felices.

<div>Hoy, como familia, queremos cumplir su última voluntad y llevarlo de regreso a casa. Sin embargo, los gastos médicos, funerarios y de traslado internacional han sido abrumadores. Por eso, con humildad y esperanza, pedimos el apoyo de quienes puedan y deseen ayudarnos a reunir los fondos necesarios para despedir a mi papá como él se merece.
