Let's send Brian & Mike to FRANCE!

To all my Family & Friends, I want to share with you that my nephews Brian Vang & Mike Vang have been invited for a try out with the AC AJACCIO Ligue 2, a professional soccer club in France. They will be leaving in May. As you may know, Brian is a D1 college soccer player at the University of Green Bay and Mike is a DA player and student at Shattuck St. Mary’s High School. Brian & Mike are humble, disciplined, elite players that have been influential on and off the field to many of our youth and community. Their father, Tay Vang, started St. Paul United Soccer Club many years ago and continues to be passionate about soccer skill development/technical skill development with his children and many of our adult & youth soccer players til today. Many of you may have crossed paths with him through soccer affiliations or him coaching your child at one point or another. Tay continues to give back to our community even though his children are grown and off to school/college. As we all know, being a Coach does not pay much and a lot of the time spent is volunteering. This is an exciting opportunity for them and I want to ask for your contribution to support them in this endeavor. This opportunity to go overseas will cost a lot of money but I truly believe that a community can come together to support our Hmong youth in soccer to chase their dreams. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support. It means so much to us. Our dream is to play soccer professionally and be able to play together. We will work hard in France and will always remember everyone who supported us through our soccer journeys. To the youth that have started or have been playing soccer, remember that your education is your priority. Stay focused in your education because it's vital to being an all around person. Soccer is a privilege that our parents have given us. Appreciate everything your parents have done and sacrificed to get you where you are today. Respect your peers and opponents because you can learn from one another.
