Medical bills and housing bills

Have you ever met someone and knew you would know them for the rest of your life? That was just what we felt the morning we met standing in front of the windows at Duncanville high school waiting for the bell to ring. I knew then that Monica would be one of the pieces of the puzzle of my life. Man I'm so glad I didn't skip that day! But paths cross for a reason and this might be it 3o plus years later, I am here to try to express just what kinda of person Monica has been all these years and why she deserves your love and attention and mostly money. She has always put others in front of her own needs being the caregiver of her extended family. She has brought into her home not only her mother but every one of her siblings at one time or another, she just can't say no. Her and Steve married in 1986 and have been married ever since, a feat in its self now days! They had two daughters, a home and company they had started. Seemed they had it all! Monica worked the phones, billing and Steve did the repairs. A few years later Monica's sister and her husband well they made some bad choices and their three kids were taken by cps. Monica could not think about not seeing them again, so her and Steve stepped up to the plate and adopted all three. Over night their family of four, became seven. With five kids under five! And living in a house with two bedrooms. But they made do and worked it out because that's what family's do. They worked hard and were able to move to a larger home. A few years go by and Monica grandparents become sick, and she moves them in and cares for them. Someone else could have done it, but no one else offered just her, so now she has a family of nine two ill people And one income. She would not have thought of putting them in a home, they took her in when she needed someone so she felt she owed them. They had the best last years of their lives right where they should have been with the person who loved them the most. Two years ago one of the children came home and found Monica up stairs unresponsive. She was in Icu for a month in a induced coma and then in the hospital for another two weeks. I told she was not allowed to die, we had made a packed years ago that we would die in our 80 laughing about all the men in our lives! Don't know if she heard me, the nurse got a kick out of it. During that time they had a hospital bill of over a half a million dollars. They lost their house. Last Christmas Steve started feeling bad, he was taken to the hospital, they learned he has terminal stage 4 liver cancer. They have been told there is nothing else that can be done. They simple can not catch a break! They had to close their company that had been open for 28 years, which ment both were out of a job. There is no money, no insurance, no savings, no life insurance, no funeral insurance.their daughter which had been in college has dropped out, there is no money for her to continue. As you can see Monica has devoted her life to family. Even now her children and grandchildren are her number one worries. There will be many more medical bills to come. House hold bills are mounting, and the bill no one wants to have to think about, but is coming, the burial which is not paid for. Please help this family get through with dignity.  Thank you
