Let's Build an Orphanage
In the northern city of Cap-Haitien, Haiti in a place called St. Michel, there lives hundreds of children that are among the poorest of the poor. St. Michel is a trash dump where families and children live with no source of clean drinking water, electricity or the opportunity to have an education.

This past January and March, I was able to view firsthand the effect of poverty and the detriment it has to the most vulnerable children in St. Michel. My heart breaks as I met children with infections and illnesses that could easily be prevented with proper nutrition, care and most importantly love. We saw many children are walking on top of the trash with no shoes, so many had little clothing or walked around naked. The children do not have the opportunity to go to school where they can learn to read and write and get an eductation to help break the cycle of poverty. 
Even though these kids live among piles and piles of trash, their smiles radiate through the circumstances where they live.
Partnering with Pastor Leo, from Cross to Light church in Cap-Haitien, we will be working on developing this newly purchased land to build an orphanage house that will be the home for up to 20 children.

Pastor Leo has a vision to build an orphanage and to take kids out of poverty and to raise them in a safe, loving and God-centered environment. We are helping him to make his dream become a reality!
Pastor Leo is a native, raised in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. He has a heart for seeing the kids in his country prosper and knows that change for Haiti will come one person at a time.
Let's Build an Orphanage
New Life Orphanage will be built on the foundation of God's love for orphans and our passion to care for the most vulnerable children to give them a hope and a future. New Life Orphanage will provide children with an education, food, clothing and to raise them as the men and women that God called them to be.
Our first step in the process is job creation. We have a business plan model to implement as a income generator to use these funds for future sustainability of the orphanage.
Our second step is land excavation to prepare the land to be able to build on it.
Our third step is the actual construction of the house building that will be the home to 20 orphans and care givers. In addition to building the local church on the property that will be home to New Life Orphanage.
The job ahead of us is great, but the rewards are greater. No child should have to live among the pigs in piles of trash. Will you help to change the life of a child?
