But, these are the words fondly ascribed to Jamese Patterson; a blossoming, captivating and sparkling young lady who before her arms could reach the sewing machine, had an eye for obscure fabrics, vibrant colors, needles, and thread. With an almost overwhelming passion to redefine beauty in the fashion industry, Jamese pursued entry into the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and was accepted into the 2013 Fall Term. What an extreme honor with extreme expenses, but I'm sure by now you are saying to yourself "How can I help keep this dream alive?"
