We are launching a Go Fund Me Page to support our friends Matthew and Kathryn Fryett.
Matthew’s Story.....”I have recently been diagnosed with cancer. As a very fit 53 year old who has been active my whole life, with no risk factors, this diagnosis came as a huge shock. I am a father to 3 teenage boys and stepfather to 5 more, having recently married. So it was not the news I or anyone would want to receive.
Chemotherapy has been tried and failed. With few options available for the type of cancer I face, I am now faced with self-funding an immunotherapy drug. Whilst this drug is unproven for the cancer I have, it has some success with other cancers and so provides hope that this treatment may allow me more time with my wife and family. As with new technologies, it is expensive, so I am hoping to raise $60000 to contribute to the cost of this drug.
I am a very private person, and to ask for help takes me well outside my comfort zone. Any support, no matter the figure, will be greatly appreciated by myself and my family. Thank you”
