Let's help Maya, Miles and Nasaan

We all love Maya and her boys, Miles and Nasaan. That's a given. We know that Maya is an amazing Mama who has risen up  to deal with all kinds of challenges with grace, resiliency and love for her boys. But right now she needs our help. Nasaan is back in the hospital with a respiratory infection with complications. This is a common problem for children with Down's syndrome. They have been at Children's  Hospital for a week and have just learned that Nasaan is going to need at least one operation to deal with a sleep apnea problem and perhaps additional procedures. They will need to stay for his recovery from this as well.

Maya has already lost one job due to caring for Nasaan through one of these episodes and she is fearful of loosing her current position. Meanwhile there are rent and bills to pay.

We can help. Please give what you can can to this campaign. Maya is a champion but now is the time to make sure she knows she has a league of friends behind her.
