We are uniting to raise the funds that will get our dear friend, Roger Lemus the treatment, surgery, and recovery from the liver transplant he so desperately needs.
Roger, for his entire life has struggled with hemophilia that with even the slightest injury could result in him bleeding out. The treatment and stress of living with this condition for 30 years has unfortunately caused Cirrhosis of the liver. Roger's liver is in the final stage before cancer.
Roger was turned away from a much needed MRI this week since his insurance does not cover this or much of the procedures and treatment he will need. Although he was placed on the transplant list 2 weeks ago, it cannot come soon enough as his heart is already showing signs of distress and he is on medication to slow his pulse.
Roger continues to work hard through all of this to support his family of 6, including his 3 month old daughter. The stress of bills piling up and being turned away for tests that he needs to save his life is making his heart work that much harder.
Roger i'm sure has been there for many of you as a friend, lending a hand or at the very least a smile... A great man, with a great smile!
Let's keep that smile shining! Please open your heart and help heal Roger! Any amount will definitely help, if everybody comes together we can make this happen!

AMAZING news!!! Rogers MRI results are in and there is no sign of cancer!!!! He still needs a liver transplant but they are going to attempt more local tests and treatments in the meantime. For now the San Diego trip is on hold and we will be having the dinner fundraiser at a different date TBA. All of our prayers are being answered!!! Please continue to pray and donate of you can <3

I am working on organizing a "Reunion Fundraiser" at a restaurant in Victorville on Sunday, August 11th. Roger will be on his way to San Diego for a week full of consultations and testing and will be able to join us! I'm hoping to find a restaurant that will donate part of the proceeds from that evenings sales in addition to a raffle, pin sale, and maybe a photo booth in which you can purchase a print on the spot! If anybody works at a restaurant that would be willing to help us out, or know anybody that would donate gift cards, gift certificates, or items for the raffle please send us their information! Together we can make this happen!!!
Although Rogers MRI is funded 100% by your generous donations this is only the beginning. Roger is scheduled for a consultation at UC San Diego Health System Center for Transplantation on August 13th. Roger, Sarah, and their 3 month old daughter will be driving out from Las Vegas and will be there the entire week for testing to include another MRI, Catscan, Ultrasound, etc. If anybody has networked with anybody that can help with fuel, hotel accommodations, food, etc in San Diego please send their info our way!
