Help close UK’s only Puppy farm MBR Acres

Camp Beagle needs your help to close down MBR Acres!

Dedicated activists have been living outside this industrial puppy farm since 28th June 2021. This abhorrent facility is the only one of its type in the UK. Every year they send up to 2,000 Beagle puppies to laboratories and universities around the country, they will endure horrific experiments- these are usually regulatory toxicology procedures where tubes are pushed down the throats of 16 week old puppies and they are forced to ingest toxic medicines and chemicals in acute and large amounts, directly into their small stomachs. The majority of vivisection experiments use no anaesthetic or pain relief as this could alter ‘results’ when autopsies are completed on their tiny, euthanised bodies.

The conditions of MBR Acres are dismal. Do not be deceived by the implied name of open space and nature. Windowless factory units called ‘sheds’ dominate the grounds, where these Beagles only have wood fibres as bedding on baron and cold concrete floors. There are no heat lamps, let alone enrichment of toys and beds. These dogs will NEVER play outside. Their harrowing cries can be clearly heard from within their prisons, where hundreds, if not thousands, of Beagles are desperate for affection and stimulation. The inside 4 walls of MBR Acres are the only thing that these abused and neglected dogs know.

The American multi billion company ‘Marshall Bioresources’ have sought an injunction to keep people away so that they can remain hidden in the Cambridgeshire countryside; but there are already thousands of supporters who do not agree with this puppy farm or the use of dogs in fraudulent science. MBR Acres provides 90% of Beagles for experiments in the UK.

We now need to call on public support to help finance the court room battle- WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED; THESE BEAGLES WILL NOT BE LEFT AND FORGOTTEN.

We have 6 Camp Beagle residents who are personally named on the High Court injunction and more names will likely be added in the beginning of January 2022. We will be helping anyone who is coming under persecution from the vivisection industry.

We will end this redundant business and it begins with ensuring MBR Acres are held accountable for their abusive and negligent intensive breeding of Beagles.
