Lee Family Fund - Help Rebuild their Lives

On January 15 2012, Dan Lee left his home Sunday morning as many good dad's do, to go to the market to get ingredients to make his family homemade waffles. He returned an hour later to a blazing fire that destroyed their home and everything they've owned. Peggy Lee and daughter Kady and her two friends were woken by the dog barking. They came out of their bedrooms to find the house ablaze. They immediately got out of the house and called 911. Firefighters arrived from New Canaan and surrounding towns, yet the cold temperatures, icing and high winds created challenges and they were unable to save the house or any of their belongings.

We Thank God that no one was injured, but all they have left are the clothes that they were wearing. The Lee's lost so much more than their house. They lost all of their belongings and lifelong memories of their 30 years here in New Canaan. Many of our community have been reaching out to see how they can help.
