LaVonne needs our help.

On Thursday August 24th. LaVonne Johnson a friend and fellow co-worker, Flew to Houston, Texas with her 4 year old grandson to do one thing transition her youngest child from a kid living at home with her family,  to a young adult attending college and living in the dorms.

On Friday August 25th While unpacking the car with all of her daughters belongings in the dorms, they were ordered to evacuate the campus. 

After leaving campus they returned to the family home in Anahuac, Tx  to wait out the evacuation. Hours later the storm hit and water around them started to rise. 

By Saturday afternoon on August 26, they lost electricity. Water had completely taken up a the bottom floor of the residence.  Calls were placed for resuce but no one came. 

Tuesday August 29th after being trapped in the family home and sleeping in the attic. They were rescued. Do to over crowding in the rescue boats they were unable to bring much of anything with them.  

LaVonne and her family are currently in  one of many makeshift shelters set up for the displaced. With little no clothing and general necessities.

LaVonne who lives and works in Ca. Needs our help to bring her, her daughter and grandson home.
