Open Heart Surgery

My name is Laura Perez, I was born with a heart defect and have been monitored my whole life to make sure there were no negative symptoms or complications.  I'm a single mother of a 10 year old boy of which I am the sole provider. I am employed full time and have never asked for outside assistance. However, I have recently been diagnosed with yet, another heart problem which requires heart surgery. The prognosis is that I will be recovering for six weeks before I can return to work. In addition, I will incur additional medical bills for this surgery. After seeing my cardiologist and running many tests, it has been determined that I must have surgery. 

On August 18, 2017, I'm scheduled for open heart surgery and will be on the road to a tough recovery. The surgery should prolong my life and help me live without fear of a sudden heart attack.  I'll be in recovery for 6 weeks and do not have enough vacation/sick time to cover the full 6 weeks off work. My health insurance doesn't cover all of the upcoming medical expenses along with any additional unanticipated costs. It is a stressful situation, especially if I cannot provide for my son. I prayed for some form of help and thus I am reaching out for any support which you may be able to provide. I realize that everyone has difficulty of their own and may not be able to assist. However, anything will help and will be greatly appreciated. I estimate that I will need $25,000.00 and maybe more. In advance, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and may God bless all of you.
