Laura Wright's funeral expenses

This fundraiser is for our friend Mike, Reddit user L3ft2.  His wife of 26 years, Laura, suddenly and unexpectedly passed earlier this week. Unfortunately, while in the process of making final arrangements, he discovered the spouse policy they had recently applied for had been denied, leaving them without life insurance at the worst possible time. 

Losing a spouse unexpectedly is one of the worse fears any of us could realize. The additional stress of expecting supporting funds to be available and finding they are not is unimaginable.

There are medical bills plus the cost of Laura's final expenses. Unfortunately in Japan, many of these final service are expected to be paid up front. We would like Mike to have this time to grieve, and not to be concerned over how these expenses will be paid.
