Lari is Loved

The family of Lari Smith needs money. They need a lot of it, they need it rather desperately, and they would never EVER ask for it themselves.

Here's the situation -- On Saturday, January 13th, Lari Smith was involved in a terrible car collision. The extent of her injuries are such that she will be unable to even walk, let alone work at all for AT LEAST 2 months.

Yes, claims are being filed with auto and medical insurances; but meanwhile,  the list of things for which she will have to pay - that are NOT covered by various insurances - grows longer and longer:

- Health insurance deductable
- Car insurance deductable
- Physical Therapy
- Medications
- Legal fees
- A repacement car

. . . Ask yourself what would your life be like if you had no income for two whole months, all the while racking up additional expenses from hospitals, nursing homes, medicines, car-related costs, lawyers, etc., on top of the regular living expenses which still want to be paid whether you have income or not?

In reality, the $5000 target amount will only just cover Lari's lost wages over the next two months, and the Smiths cannot make ends meet without Lari's wages.  They need money help now !

Lari Smith, who most of us know has never had a lot of her own to spare but has ALWAYS been the first to share what she had when one of us needed it.

That generous nature is one of the reasons why we all love her.  Not just Lari, but we also love Chris and Gillian, both of whom are directly affected by this sudden and terrible change of circumstance. We love them all and we want to help. It's that simple; 

Now, Let's take that love and desire to help one step farther and help in a material way. Let's help them keep the lights and heat in on in their home -- Heck, let's help them KEEP their home! -- let's help them pay for Lari to have the best of care. Let's help them replace the car that was wrecked.. . .
Let's not just sit back and count on a law suit and settlement to take care of the Smiths, but let's MAKE SURE those we love are taken care of! I'm hoping that we blow by that $5000 target amount three-fold.
